Roanna is an Integrative Nutrition and Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach who graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), the world's largest nutrition school for health coaches, and Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA), the only coaching program in collaboration with the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
As such, she works with individuals and groups in implementing behavior, dietary, lifestyle and environmental changes to achieve specific health goals that span the broad wellness spectrum - whether it be in facilitating weight loss, improving nutrition and movement, minimizing exposure and contribution to environmental toxins, or working within health care teams to support treatment to degenerative and chronic health issues.
She's an entrepreneur as founder of multiple lifestyle brands, of which the most notable is humble market - the first specialty bulk store in the Philippines, and an alternative lifestyle and package-free retail and wholesale distribution brand driven to make holistic wellness and sustainable living more accessible as the new norm.
She's a former multi-sport athlete, and a Philippine representative to an international dance competition where she placed 7th in the world with her team in 2014. Currently, she continues to dance, with focus on the disciplines of Argentine Tango and the Afro-Latin dances.
As a speaker she provides a holistic perspective on planetary health, wellness and sustainability, rooted in her own experience overcoming an autoimmune disease in her 20s. She helps bridge topics on three areas we can control: our nutrition, lifestyle and the environment, to ultimately empower individuals to uplift their overall well-being, and the people and environments within their own communities.
